The original title of this article had a good amount of profanity in it, but I’m not quite as pissed off now as I was before. Also, I realized that you can devaluate profanity by using it too much and I definitely don’t want that to happen. However, there’s some profanity in the article itself. If you dislike profanity or if you’re easily offended, don’t read this article (and fuck off).
So about an hour ago, I had just come home from work and was trying to unwind a little, someone rang my doorbell. I thought to myself “this better be good”. So I looked through the peephole in my door and there was this douchebag standing on the other side. I knew he was going to try and sell me shit, so I opened the door and immediately told him that if he wanted to sell me something, he should fuck off. But he insisted that he didn’t want to sell me anything. Instead, he said he wanted to lower my telephone charges. That’s when I thought “You fucker, I’ve had your kind here before”. And in fact I had, just a few weeks ago. So the guy says “I need to see your last telephone bill”. I said “You work for Arcor, don’t you”? He confirmed. So I said “You know, you’re not the first one to try this shit on me. I told the last guy to fuck off, why should I say anything else to you? I have absolutely nothing to do with Arcor.” “Well, the telephone line in your house is serviced by Arcor”. “No it’s not. You know that, I know that. So please, leave. And I don’t want you to harass any of my neighbors.” He tried to say something to me in return but I had already slammed the door in his face.
What a little fucker. Of course it’s not all his fault. He didn’t seem to have the capacity to come up with a scam like that all by himself. And as I already said, his asshole friend who harassed me a few weeks before had used exactly the same words. After the guy had left, I called Arcor to ask them what this was all about, but they couldn’t tell me (they were very friendly though). Apparently these people work for a direct marketing company that is only loosely affiliated with Arcor. Arcor has distanced themselves from these companies in the past, but apparently with little effect.
What’s so bad about this kind of marketing is that it can seriously harm a company’s reputation. These people try to sell stuff under false pretenses which is not only disingenuous; it’s most likely illegal, too. So Arcor, for your own sake, stop these people! They’re destroying your reputation and they’re pissing everyone off.

1. Tell them you use Alice, ask them if Arcor would be cheaper (hint: nope)
2. Ask them where the next DSLAM is and if they could guarantee you 16 mbit/s (hint: especially the direct marketing scum doesn't know any of the details)
3. Pretend not to speak german and ask if they could explain it to you in english (hint: they can't... why would the do door-to-door promotion stuff if they could)
3. Tell them you already have an Arcor contract and ask them why your internet doesn't work
I am still suffering with this traumatic experience and do not know what to do, is their anyone out their that can assist me, to bring this person to book. He evades my calls whenever i call him
him, and i want to give his monies back because i want to see him in jail.
He is employed @ H1 Capital on the foreshore. After all this he became an atheist and told me that he was sorry.
I have never been in a stable relationship ever since.
Can someone please confront him.
